Who is your favorite philosopher, and why?

I admittedly am new to the field, , but despite his controversial political views, I like Heidegger because he asked similar questions to myself.

What attracted you to join this group?

Another meetup group had this in the "People in this Meetup are also in" sidebar, and I thought it'd be interesting

How do you define philosophy? There is no wrong answer.

Philosophy is taking what we know , from history, experience and intuition, and applying that knowledge to answer questions that we have about life.

Hi, I'm Chris and I'm an open-minded individual.
