Introduction
I'm a professor and academic advisor in the philosophy department at UTA. I also serve as the faculty advisor for UTA's philosophy club. When I'm not at work, I'm usually thinking about philosophy.
Who is your favorite philosopher, and why?
Me. While I am certainly not as smart as many philosophers, I tend to accept my position more often than I accept any other position. A very close competitor is David Lewis.

We always get a very interesting group of people at these meetings. What is so wonderful is that many members of the group encourage new people to participate in the discussions. While sometimes it can be daunting to engage in philosophical discussions, David has done an amazing job of putting together the best possible environment for friendly discussions.
