What do you use Excel, Access or both?

At work I use Excel 2003 and occasionally Access 2003, but at home I use Excel 2010.

What's your biggest challenge in using these products?

Keeping my skills sharp, but also finding gigs, jobs or assignments that are within my skill set.

What would be your learning priorities? Are there areas of special interest?

I'd like to be more comfortable, competent, and confident using VBA and SQL.


I'm a freelance reporter looking to strengthen my story ideas with computer-assisted reporting. I earned a CMOS in Excel 2003 in 2008 and looking to earn newer certifications.
