ExecTec - Mobile is everywhere

As one of the first people to tote a handheld cell phone, I have been part of the mobile generation for over 20 year.

Today mobile is everywhere. Many of us carry not one phone but two (work and personal cells) and the number of things one can do with ones smart phone is off the hook (pardon the pun).

Mobile today is all about payments, Info services, loyalty interactions, location services, crowdsourcing and so much more.

Many would sooner give up anything rather than be parted with their mobile device. Robin Raskin of Mommy Tech actually bargained with a mugger to keep her smartphone.

Tend to talk to yourself simply add a bluetooth headset and now you are not crazy but simply driven to work constantly.

So what is the mobile craze really about? Does ease of use and the limitless potential of the platform create a launch bed for just about anything we can dream up?

Pay your bills via your bank app, day trade stocks, monitor real time events, find your way in any city or public transit system, strike up a conversation in a foreign language, summon and pay for a taxi or town card, locate your friends in real time, share shopping list with your spouse, track your goals/progress and so much more.

So what is the crux of the mobile equation? Is it that the right size and power makes the device or is it the swiss army knife invaluable tool nature of these mobile devices that is key?

Some argue it is the tool we all have and therefore the ultimate platform for anything and everything you can imagine.

While no one may have the answer to how to turn all this limitless potential into profit there is no question your mobile device can help you calculate the profit of any endeavor you can think up.

Come join us as we discuss mobile and everything from its limitless potential to the dark side of mobile boom.

As always, there is no better way to meet and connect with other executives then over dinner and conversation. $21 in advance via PayPal or $25 at the event gets you a full dinner, drink and the best networking around.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
