Training- Intensity Run (10K)

Meet in front of the statue (of a certain Monsieur Joffre) at the top of the Champs de Mars across the street from Ecole Militaire at 20h (8 pm).

This tried and true tempo run will help you manage your pace and prevent you from starting out too fast in a competition and then crashing towards the end-- which can easily happen even to the best of us!

Run 5 loops (each one is approx. 2K, so 10K total) around the Champs de Mars and the idea is your first loop is your slowest and you get faster and faster with each loop, so your last one is your fastest. We will start out together for the first loop, but by the end you will be running alone. Open to all paces and abilities-- the idea is just to work on energy management, push yourself and end faster than you started!
