Le Petit Théâtre du Bonheur is a small and magical theater that is easy to miss; no giant neon letters here, just a small entrance along one of montmartre's myriad stone staircases.
Here each Wednesday evening "Théâtre Métropole" (an international troupe of actors) performs a different set of comedy sketches in English for those who have been curious enough to brave the steps.
One of our group's members is in the troupe, so maybe afterwords we'll have a drink with the cast.
Let's meet an hour before the show at the charming stone-and-wood bistro that's at the top of the staircase, "Le Rendez-Vous des Amis" - wouldn't you know it there's a fantastic happy hour.
The theater only has about twenty seats so we'll try to get in a bit early.
Admission is ten euros, and the money goes directly towards keeping independent theater alive in paris, so come join us!
