I realised that the last month I managed to run this much was August-- which was quite a while ago... So to try to find some motivation, posting this challenge so that we can all suffer together. :) Please note that this is not an event, but a personal challenge lasting the entire month of January! If you RSVP yes, then it means you'd like to take on the challenge. The idea is that we can support and motivate each other to run 50K a week (so a grand total of 200K for the month). Post your runs, or just update us about your progress and weekly totals-- there's a strava group (see comments for the link) and together we can beat the winter running blues and start training for Paris or other spring marathons.
