Picking strawberry at Aaby Gård this Sunday (the 6th of July)

Coming from a big city and working in front of two computer monitors every day, I have always been keen to get a job without using computers. Now there is one!
I heard of people coming back from Aaby Gård with strawberries enough to make jam for a year. So...
Plan: catch the bus 251 that stops at Frederiks gate bus stop at 13:31, get to Aaby Gård in 40 minutes and start working! And get back to civilization before we are too tired.
We can meet in front of the fountain at National Theatre at 13:15 and walk to the bus stop together.
Anyone in?

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for signing up for this event! Yr.no changed its mind and now the forecast for Sunday is not so bright. I just called the farm to ask what happens if it rains on Sunday. They said they are not very sure whether they will open on Sunday because of the weather. Also, they expect a lot of people coming to pick the strawberries on Saturday which is predicted to be sunny, so they are not sure how many strawberries will be left by Sunday. They told me to call them again on Saturday evening when they will decide whether to open on Sunday or not. So, what do you think? Shall we move the event to Saturday to be sure or shall we wait for their decision Saturday evening? We can have a vote here!

Yes! Thanks for reminding. No entry fee but 28kr per kilo. I didn't ask about cash or card, but let's bring some cash to be safe.

Guys, do you know what is the price of tickets, go-back? I guess we will need to have some cash. Also, what is the fee foe picking up berries? Do we need cash for that as well?

How much is it going to cost?

You mean you should pay 28kr per kilo strawberries you pick? Are you aware of the fact that one hour work in Norway is paid >100 kr? :-)

I think the point is having fun whilst picking strawberries with people you'd like to socialise with.
