Café-Restaurant Stanislavski is located in the Stadsschouwburg (right across the Apple Store) on the Leideseplein (Leidsesquare) in Amsterdam.
Stanislavski is a café-restaurant downtown Amsterdam with a large terrace where you can enjoy a glass of wine, watch people rushing by to catch a tram, to meet with your friends, to enjoy theater and to have a great meal.
Our meeting point is at the lovely Ajax foyer on the first floor. At the Ajax foyer we have access to a wonderful private terrace where you are able to talk in private or to have a smoke or two.
How to find us? Just follow the Expat meet Dutchies signs when you enter the building via the terrace side on the Leidseplein.

Little history venue Stanislavski
When the Stadssschouwburg renovated their building in 2008 they added restaurant Stanislavski, named after a great Russian actor and director, to their venue. Stanislavski’s original name was Konstantin Sergejevitsj Aleksejev and was born in 1863. His wealthy family had a great love for arts. They owned a private theater where Stanislavski spend many hours on the stage as from a very young age.
