Of Scottish extraction, I'm an 'international European'. I left the UK over 20 years ago and have lived variously in various places in Europe, the US, Asia, and now back again in Europe. Basically I like being a 'local foreigner'.
I came to Paris regularly on vacation as a child, lived/worked/studied here as a student in the 80's, moved here again for business in the early 2000's, and returned again in mid 06. I keep coming back so I guess this wonderful city is home for me.
Pretty much wherever I am at the time..... I love oyster bars in Paris, and also spoiling myself at L'Arpege. As for cafe's, my favorite is the one with the grand latte and a good, warm butter croissant early in the morning - nothing beats it!

I joined this meet up because I would like to meet new people, and a weekend around Dijon sounds like a great opportunity to do that while visiting parts of the country I've never been to.
