Experience downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at Falcon Ridge Ski Hill!

Join us for a day of skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing at Falcon Ridge Ski Hill in the beautiful Whiteshell Provincial Park!

Falcon Ridge Ski Hill has a range of diverse terrain for all levels of ability. Located on the shore of beautiful Falcon Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, the hills offer beautiful views of the lake amidst a woodland boreal Forest setting.

Falcon Ridge has a variety of lifts and terrain, including:

• Pine T-bar - a lift with a upside down "T" shaped seat that pulls skiiers and boarders up the hill

• Chickadee Handle Tow - the Chickadee is a handle tow lift- much like a rope tow in the way that it pulls you up except that it has actual handles for holding on to. Because the lift is short and a slower speed, it makes for an excellent starting point for beginners.

• Sunshine Rope Tow - facing south-west this slope has the advantage of lots of direct sunlight, hence the name Sunshine! Features of this slope include longer gentle and very scenic runs.

• Smokey Rope Tow & Terrain Park - the Falcon Ridge terrain park - the park will continue to develop as the snow flies, featuring a wide variety of rails, fun boxes, table tops and kickers

The Ski Chalet offers a cozy fun environment for guests to warm up, have a bite to eat, an apres ski drink, or enjoy live music in between sessions on the slopes.  The building celebrates the vibrant history of the ski hill, decorated with antique snow sport equipment, a central stone fireplace, bulletin boards filled with local newspaper clippings, and full sized birch trees with branches reaching out across the ceiling. The decorating gives the room a distinct vintage feel of stepping back into a 1920's ski resort.

Tubing has also become a favourite at Falcon Ridge - great for kids and adults alike!  Experience the thrill and fun of shooting down their tubing track, without the work required to walk back up for a second ride.  Their tube lift pulls the tubes up the hill while we sit back and enjoy the ride!

Included in the cost for the day is a lift ticket, 1.5 hours of tubing (including tube rental), carpool fees, and meetup fees.  Equipment rentals are NOT included in the price you pay via PayPal to RSVP to this event.

What a great group of ladies. We had so much fun welcoming Trisha and Lee-Anne to our group as it was their first meet-up. It was a perfect day for outdoor fun and we had a blast on the tubes with lots of screams and laughter. Thanks girls for such a great day:)
