Make the most of our gorgeous summer evenings and join us paddling in a canoe or kayak on the open water at Fort Whyte Alive - our local nature reserve.
Fort Whyte Alive, in partnership with Mountain Equipment Co-op and The Wilderness Supply Company, will be offering Winnipeg’s best selection of kayaks for us to enjoy. These evenings are supervised by the paddling pros, and offer the perfect chance to sample kayaking or canoeing in a safe environment.
*Please note, this is a public event, so we need to be patient when waiting for kayaks and canoes to come in (last year we waited 15 minutes or so). It will give us a chance to exchange paddling stories or tales of the open water!
