As the owner of an old house in Long Beach, I thought it would be interesting to meet for coffee at my second favorite coffee shop in Long beach. Then we can walk across the street for the first Restoration Trade Fair (RTF). The RTF is being sponsored by the Rose Park Neighborhood Association. It will be a collection of locally known craftspeople, suppliers, designers and other historic restoration specialists who have experience in Long Beach's historic districts. Come learn more about one of the oldest cities in Southern California
If you come late, we might already be at the RTF so look for us across the street.
Sprite,
I don't think it's going to be super specific to Long Beach. Just because you're across the river doesn't mean they won't include you! The event goes from 9 am to 4 pm I need to leave before 4
Hi Marisa-Elizabeth,
Kids are definitely welcome to this event.
May actually swing by for coffee with you folks, then back home for a little well needed house keepoing of my own.
I live in a 1929 Tudor I restored, in San Pedro, and I've restored others, incl. 3 buildings from 1938 + 1 from WWI-era in other places. I am interested in the Fair, but wonder how specific to LB it's going to be? Also, I'm not a 9 a.m. person, so maybe meetup later on?
