Explore Raleigh is more than just a Meetup group. Keep reading to get a better understanding of what we do.

Let me start out by saying we're a nonexclusive group that does not discriminate and believes in tolerance and celebrating peoples differences. You're welcome to come out no matter if you're 18 or 80, blind, crippled or crazy. Just don't be too creepy. lmao

Explore Raleigh was established to give people an opportunity to go out and not only meet new people but to explore so much of what Raleigh has to offer. You don't have to be new to the area to enjoy the venues and activities that this group highlights.

We think you'll find that this Meetup group is not like other groups that have a particular area of focus, as we will be engaging in a wide range of activities. We may be on a trail this week, at the IMAX next week and doing volunteer the week after that. We're liable to hit a bar or restaurant any night of the week.

Not all events are organized Meetups with a host onsite. You'll notice that some events are more along the lines of informative announcements. But you can still RSVP and coordinate going with another member of Explore Raleigh who has also RSVP'd the event by leaving a comment on the event or emailing someone directly.
