Join adventures with likeminded people in Bristol, UK and abroad: from kayaking & surfing weekends to ski & watersports holidays and overseas expeditions. We also meet up once a month to listen to an inspiring talk from an explorer and have a few beers.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes: "I'm right behind the guys at Explorers Connect - there's an explorer in us all and with this fast growing and friendly community, there's real scope for us all to participate, to inspire and to be inspired - to push some boundaries!”
EC has been established for 5 years. Its run by Belinda Kirk, Explorer and Guinness World Record holder. At the core of EC's ethos inclusiveness and safety are paramount - but so is personal challenge and fun.
If you've not come on an EC event yet, they're very informal and friendly. We've got singles, couples and sets of friends coming along, adventure professionals and complete beginners - what we all share is the desire for more adventure
Belinda has worked on 18 major international expeditions in the last 18years. The smallest expedition she's set up was a group of four to China's Desert of Death, and the largest was leading a team of over one hundred to the Amazon - patroned by HRH Duke of York. She has also sat on the Jungle Panel at RGS's Explore and is keen to promote young explorers. In TV and film she has worked on series such as Ray Mears Bushcraft, 'SAS Are You Tough Enough', Hunting Chris Ryan, Coast, Monsters We Met, 'Living With Gorillas'and Beyond Boundaries I & II. Belinda is the Founder of Explorers Connect and is always interested in inspiring others to have more adventures. More details are here
The rest of the team profiles will be added to our Explorers Connect website soon - although many of you will already know our experienced and qualified guides Patrick, Jon, Stephen and Charles.
The quality team and inclusive ethos continues to bring EC great supporters...
