Let's grab a drink while we enjoy the pleasure of compelling conversation in great company. Pleasure is such a simple concept yet it evokes all sorts of thoughts and feelings. What exactly is pleasure? Do we have enough? Are we truly comfortable with it? Where do we block it? What gets in the way of pleasure in our lives? When does pleasure seeking become a problem? Is there good pleasure and “bad” pleasure? Is comfort pleasure? Where do we choose avoidance of pain vs. pleasure? What does society, religion, our families teach us about pleasure?

My first meeting and it was great! The group was very supportive of all views, easy and free flowing exchange. It was very enlightening to get a variety views and be able to honestly discuss various sides and through that exchange refine one's own assumptions and world view. The discussions were a pleasure themselves. I'm still charged by it this morning! Thanks Trish for making the arrangements, definitely looking forward to the next.
