Important Message for this Saturday's Meetup!

Hi All,

The weather is looking promising for Saturday November 2nd for our walk through Fort Tryon and Inwood Parks. Please bring your lunch and water to drink this is a long walk of a good 3.5 miles and it will that much more efficient time-wise if you don't need to try and hunt down something to eat during the walk.
We will be passing by a few stores in the beginning of our walk if you wish to buy a quick snack or beverage.

We will eat in Fort Tryon Park as there are various sitting areas. I will try and combine our lunch break with an optional visit to The Cloisters, although people may want to maximize time outdoors due to the beautiful autumn foliage vistas of the Hudson River.

Bring a few extra dollars in case you want to visit the Dyckman House, the last remaining farmhouse in Manhattan, which is in the Inwood neighborhood. There will be some uphill walking in Inwood Park.

There are places in Inwood for a meal or drink when we are finished.

Looking forward to tomorrow!
