Natural Skin Care and Lotion Making Demonstration

Natural Skin Care and Lotion Making Demonstration

Our skin is the first point of contact with the world and thus is exposed to a lot of harsh elements.

At this talk and demonstration, you'll learn:

-nutrition for healthy skin

-tips for keeping your skin looking young

-botanicals that assist in addressing skin issues such as acne, dryness and rosacea

-how to make your own lotion at home

This talk will be held in the Whole Foods classroom and is free.

Maybe the next skin care talk can be on holistic approaches/options for some of the other topics like exfoliation, sun protection, and insect repellants.

Dry brushing is also an effective way. Exfoliation and improves circulation

As a beginner in holistic health, I thought that this was very informational. It was great experiencing a more formal way of learning instead of always googling :) Looking forward to more events!

Wendy: As Linda said, it's very nice of you to offer these sessions and very much appreciated. The people who attend are already interested in natural solutions to living healthfully, but your enthusiasm somehow makes it even more desirable. :-)

I do wish that exfoliation had been discussed as part of taking care of our skin

Thanks for the feedback--my time ran short but I will make sure that is part of the next one. I personally like to make a scrub from himalayan pink sea salt and pure aloe gel which I use as part of my weekly exfoliation. Always feel free to ask questions during class too. Thanks for coming! :)

It was informative...but elementary...it was in my opinion a really great starting point for those working toward a holistic healthy lifestyle

Hey, my name is Sharon. I Rsvped awhile ago for my spot and even took work off for it. I tried to add my mom but, it put me on the waitlist. So, I took her off and I'm still on the waitlist. Will this be a problem if I go on Tuesday?

    June 15

    • Wendy R.

I would show up early and get a seat...based on RSVPs it's going to be a full house. See you tomorrow! :)
