Interested in learning more about birds and bird photography? Come along for an afternoon stroll along the beautiful Cherry Blossom Trail and wetland area. We'll have a Master Naturalist or three with us to help us with the birding and experienced photographers who can help you get the shot.

This meetup isn't just for photographers. Friends, family, or anyone else interested in learning about birds is welcome!

In that case, you will want to get onto Rt 605 in the Hollins area, I believe you can get there by turning at the stoplight near Pepsi Plant, it will run into Rt 604 which is now alt 220. Turn right and you will go straight until you hit Greenfield where the trail is

I am very familiar w/ the area, and I hate to say it but no shortcuts unless you want to back track a bit and just get around the traffic.

I'm gauging interest in renting a couple of long lenses for both Canon and Nikon for this event for people to use (probably 300mm f/4.) Would anyone be interested in that and willing to pitch in a few bucks?
