Be sure to bring your gear! (camera/tripod/remote) We're going to start with a presentation, but my primary goal is for you to get hands-on practice so that you'll be ready to hit the feeders shooting.

What length of lens do you recommend for the session?

    • Jon Beard

I've used anything from 14mm to 500mm. It's really about what type of image you have in mind that you'd like to make. For practice inside the library, something with a short minimum focus distance will be practical. (You don't want to have to be 15 feet away trying to focus across the room.) ;)
