Spectacular Saturday (Grandparents day) at the Taubman Museum

We've been invited to participate by the Taubman Museum with their "Spectacular Saturday" event for children on the 7th.  The museum will provide costumes and other "silly things" for the kids to wear.  We'll take photos of children who will then take their prints to the "Art Venture" area where they will decorate the photos and turn them into a refrigerator magnet.  Megan Robinson, event coordinator for children, expects from 100 to 400+ for this "Grandparents day" event.  We'll either have it easy or stay very busy!

Sign up (by rsvp and leaving a comment below) for one of three time slots.  10am to 12noon, 12noon to 2pm, and 2pm to 4pm.  Please limit each time slot to 10 people.  Or stay all day if you want.  We need three active photographers for each time slot, all extra who sign up can take turns helping print photos, general computer work (downloading photos and exporting to print media) taking general documentary shots of the event, and of course, taking photos of the children(trade off with the "active photographer"). 

This will be a great opportunity to learn and participate in all aspects of event photography.  We also need one more portrait setup, background and lights, modifiers, stands, triggers, etc.(we'd like that for use all day). 

Art and I are excited about this first photo opportunity with the Taubman Museum and we think you'll have a great time as well.

    A great meetup with lots of kids (and Grandparents) getting dressed up photographed in order to make framed phictures (or refrigerator magnets) out of photos that we printed for them.

    I'll finish out the third 10:00 to 12:00 time slot. Blue and white backdrop (Moonlight Cloudscape) using manual flashes and radio remote triggers (any camera brand may use them). OK, we're all set, with three portrait setups.
