Hello! Mike McNeil and I (Blue Ridge Land Conservancy) are planning another conservEX workshop for this Sunday, September 8th at the conserved Kegley Farm in the City of Roanoke.
We're actually splitting the workshop into two sections to accommodate adults and children. The first section specifically for adult photographers will begin at 6:30 AM at the Kegley property. Admission is $15.00 for ER members; or $10.00 for OWL members; and an additional $2.00 if you bring a model. You may also opt for $30 which gets you workshop admission and a Museum membership for future discounts. All admission fees collected will help support both the Link Museum and the Blue Ridge Land Conservancy.
The second session will begin at 1:30 PM and is open to all ages, especially kids! Admission is free with a suggested $5 donation. Kids should bring their own camera, but any camera (digital, phone, disposable, etc.) will do! I'll be on hand to talk about the natural resources and I think some volunteers will also be on hand to talk about photography techniques.
For more information and to RSVP, contact Mike at [masked] or myself at [masked]. Directions to the Kegley property can be found online at blueridgelandconservancy.org/photo.
