Words Can Heal Your Soul

Do you know that words have power? Some people in your life can intentionally or accidentally hurt you with their words while others can speak words that can heal your soul.  Words we tell ourselves have the same power to either uplift or paralyze us.  Therefore, both spoken and written words can have a powerful affect on our well-being. As you might imagine, words of love and encouragement can heal, while words of bitterness and pain can destroy. Words can inspire and motivate, and words can depress and deplete. Words that have the greatest impact on our feelings are often spoken by people we love and respect.

In this meeting we will explore the world of words and our art will be done entirely with words. If you have never tried this before, you will want to join us for this meeting.  We will be using different art mediums including clay, watercolors, and markers to create our word collages and art projects.

Everyone who attends will also receive a journal for work with words after leaving the meeting. We will be discussing 12 Healing Words, so you could choose to use your journal for adding these words to your personal healing vocabulary. They will provide great moments of reflection or meditation and can also serve as prompts for gratitude writing.

Come and be inspired, feel encouraged and be uplifted with the healing power of words.

What a special meeting this was for me! When the meetings are smaller, there is more opportunity to explore the process in a personal way. It also gives me time to observe that process as it is happening. At this meeting I witnessed the blossoming of true art and writing creativity burst forth right in front of my eyes. That vision will stay with me for a long time. These members worked with intention and intensity and created masterpieces that came directly from inside of them. I always feel blessed when I see inner beauty shining forth. Thank you for a remarkable meeting.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
