The Mystic Knot (Cancelled)

“The Celtic knot symbol is also referred to as the mystic knot, or the endless knot. The more esoteric or spiritual meaning of this symbol alludes to beginnings and endings. In viewing these beautiful knots, we cannot see a beginning or and end, and therefore we are reminded of the timeless nature of our spirit. This translation harkens to our most primal selves as we contemplate the infinite cycles of birth and rebirth in both physical and ethereal realms. A less spiritual representation is also related to the knots endless nature. Due to its infinite path, the Celtic knot can represent an uninterrupted life cycle... In ancient times, gifts adorned with mystic knots would be given with best wishes of longevity, or luck with new endeavors.”
The Celts used this mystic knot in patterns that can be found on jewelry, clothing, or home décor. They also used it in mandalas. In Buddhism and Hinduism, a mandala is a geometric or pictorial design that is usually enclosed in a circle and represents the entire universe. It is often used in meditation and ritual and it can bring healing and calm to the body just by looking at it or by coloring the patterns. In Jungian psychology, the mandala is a symbol that represents the self and inner harmony. These Celtic patterns, containing the mystic or endless knot, also bring peacefulness to us when we look at them, contemplate their timelessness or color their uninterrupted lines. They allow us to make order out of disorder and to transcend time and space by providing a brief centering pause for the self and the soul.

While coloring the Celtic Knot pattern at this meeting you may experience this calming effect. The knot patterns are a tool that can be used in the future as a form of stress reduction in times of emotional chaos. In this meeting you will also have the option to create your own never ending knot pattern using the samples as a guide. Situations that have caused you stress in the present or in the past contribute to a ball of knotted emotions. With a little help and a different focus, this knotted ball can actually turn into your blessing ball.

Come and find out more about the blessing ball including what it is and how you can create one to turn your emotional knots into blessings. This meeting may bring you the peace you have been looking for.

Hi Rosemary, Sorry I won't be able to go to this. I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I fell a couple of weeks ago and broke my left elbow & knee & had surgery on the elbow. Last year I fell & broke the right elbow, so it will be a while before i'm back on my feet again. Please keep me in your prayers & say hi to all for me ... Peace and Love ... Jill
