Let's Play Beach Volleyball(Free for Ladies)

Hello everyone, I usually play volleyball on Thursday nights with a bunch of friends at 6pack and wanted to extend an invite to y'all:

6pack in richmond has FREE drop-in beach volleyball for women, guys are $15.

Play starts at 9:30pm until late(1am). Most people call it around 12:30am.

Meetup scheduled for 9:15pm so we can get everyone organized, e.g. introduction, appropriate numbers for play, housekeeping & organization.

Team size is a minimum of 5 players.

And arriving Prompt IS A KEY TO SUCCESS since it is free there is be a waiting list (of an average of 30mins) to play if you are late.

This is strictly a social event so any ability is accepted, the only requirement is your desire to have FUN.

If you are interested msg me and hope to see you out there.

While it may be a common business practice, I still don't see it as any different than if you were to tell LGBT people they can't go inside clubs where straight people are, or forcing black people to use the 'coloured' facilities such as what they did back in the 1950s.

Anyway, I've got enough on my mind as it is, so I'll leave it at that. I've got a pretty big backyard, anyone wanna use it as a soccer field or something?

You know, I'd go to this if it weren't free for ladies. I think that is completely unfair. I'm all about equality for everyone, and to think in this day and age there are still things like this going on really kinda disgusts me.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind that other than the owners/organizers just looking for hot pieces of ass to stare at.

Price discimination is quite common these days, they just want to encoruage a certain demographic to come out on a certain day. A lot of places does this: eg. night clubs, gun ranges, even the bus for crying out loud (seniors get a discount). Though the huge difference does cause some unfairness.

Anyone is more than welcome to create events suggesting other venues. So far Antoinette is the only one who has taken initiative to suggest the venue, so props to her.

Great fun! I couldn't find others from meetup.com but that's ok, i was grouped up with another team. It's fun doing light exercise in the evening.
