Dazzle your taste buds at Cafe Kathmandu - Nepali cuisine

Grab your gear and take a journey with me to the Himalayas! Here we will entice our senses upon the snowy lofts and enjoy the wonderful cuisine that Nepal has to offer! Let us dine together and engage in gentle pleasantries. Let us enter Cafe Kathmandu!

When: Please arrive at the restaurant at 7pm. I will wait a maximum of five-minutes before allowing attendees to order from the menu.

Where: The cafe is located at 2779 Commercial Drive x East 12th Avenue in Vancouver.

Parking: I don't drive, but the manager of the cafe told me that if you drive one block south to 13th Avenue you can find free parking.

How to find us: We will be inside the cafe. Ask for the "A.Scott" party.

Website: http://www.cafekathmandu.com/new/default.php?pageID=home

Special Note on Food: It is written on their website that everything is prepared home-style and 100% dairy free.

Pricing: Attendees are responsible to pay for their own food and drink, so therefore the cost is relative to that of your selection.

Cancellation and No-Shows: Please be advised that if you need to cancel you must do so at least 48-hours in advance. I will be calling the restaurant the day before so I can tell them how many people are actually going. No-shows are the devil so avoid, avoid avoid! Thank you!

By no means is the host and the group in its entirety responsible for the misuse and misconduct resulting in alcoholic consumption. All members are deemed fully responsible for their behavior and will use their discretion accordingly. hi akemi, sorry about that. i did cancel at about 8:00 this morning, it was not 48 hours before but a day and a half. i guess i didn't think it was going to be a big deal, my bad. if it is full, someone has taken my place. i really wouldn't want to put myself in bad books for future events. i will only cancel in future if it is a full 48 hours. i understand you put a lot of time and effort into organizing this, so i am sincerely sorry. if there is a spot i would love to come. thank you!
