FREE Labour Day Fall Fair at Burnaby Village Museum w/ FREE Carousel Rides!

Let us enjoy Labour Day the fun-filled way at the Burnaby Village Museum! On this day there will be FREE admission and FREE unlimited carousel rides! You are more than welcome to bring your children and family members with you (provided you will be responsible for them), as there will be many activities for all ages throughout the museum. Please refer to the website below for more information. There is a phone number on that website too if you would like to learn more about the fair!

When: Meet us no later than 11am at the Carousel entrance. The fair and museum closes at 4:30pm. Anyone can leave at any time.

***Please note: I won't be waiting for any latecomers. The group and I will be promptly moving into the museum grounds at 11am. If you feel that you won't be on time, you can still come but you will have to look for us within the museum grounds as we will likely be scattered, looking and doing various things.

How to find us: Do not get confused with the main entrance. The carousel one is not facing Canada Way but rather a big grassy hill and the Shadbolt Centre. Please refer to the picture above.

Map: On the map provided on the link below, the carousel entrance is located on the upper left hand side. http://www.burnabyvillagemuseum.ca/EN/main/village/map.html

Admission and Carousel Rides: FREE! Carousel Rides are unlimited and free only for the day of this event.

Host Expectations: I am not a professional and as such I strongly encourage all attendees to this museum and future ones to explore and wonder the grounds freely. This is an "organic", loose event that is not strict and linear. In other words, if you choose to eat something and I, the host, chooses to listen to music then I won't hold you against your will. At the same time, we're all adults and I won't be your guide in this event as I do intend to have a good time as well. You are more than welcome to hang around with me, just pleaserefrain from being clingy and go without any expectations in your mind. Remember, the main objective of this event and any museum event is to have fun, and that goes for the host as well!

***If you decide to bring family members or children you are responsible for them!

Waiver: The host, group, Burnaby Village Museum, City of Burnaby, museum staff and associates are not responsible in any way for attending members. Members who RSVP YES for this event are solely and totally responsible for their own personal safety and well being before, during and at any time after the conclusion of this event. The host, group, Burnaby Village Museum, City of Burnaby, museum staff and associates shall be held harmless and shall be unconditionally free forever of any and all liabilities, obligations and responsibilities to any of the attendees, guests and all third party individuals, relatives and representatives.

I have been to the "museum" a few times a few years ago, though this time I got better photographs.

The prime reason I went was to photograph the carousel, but the line was WAY too long and it was far too crowded for good photographs. Lots of good shots elsewhere though.
