who attends is expected to
buy at least one food AND drink item please!
Welcome to the Toby's edition of Monday night board games! We're moving to Toby's pub and grill, located extremely close to commercial skytrain station. We have booked the upstairs part of Toby's pub and grill.
As usual, all members are expected to buy at least one food or drink item. I would like to remind everybody that the purpose of this event is still to play board games.
So please if you're going to drink alcohol, drink responsibly. They have coffee tea juice pop etc and a full menu with half price appetizers from 5pm-9pm
Larger venue so more people can attend.
60 people instead of 30!
That's- wait.. six and zero, carry the three.. that's 6 times as- no, wait. Oh, that's twice as many people!!
More seats and extended playing hours (5-11pm) ~:0D
Bring your games and lets have a great time!
The half price appetizer special is on until 9pm BUT you have to buy a drink to get half price, the kitchen is open until 10 and we can play until 11. An extra server will be added for us and they will open the upper floor (for our reservation) at 5 for anyone who wants to take extra advantage of the half price appies or show up early. :)
(Toby's is where the little toon turtle, Tommy, is hangin' out)
In order to purchase more games for the group we will occasionally ask members casually for a small donation ($1 or $2 or whatever you're willing to donate) towards buying new and awesome board games for this group. Please feel free to donate or not, it's not mandatory but would be nice to have your support.

ESV wristbands are finally here! Engraved with the words "ESV Meetup", you can find fellow meetup members by looking for their wrists to see if they have a Blue wristband. Totally optional but members with wristbands can easily identify eachother and receive group perks at future events (in negotiation). Get your wristbands (by donations) to show your support to the ESV club. If you have benefitted a lot from this meetup and wish to give back to support this group getting a wristband is a great way to start.
