I love everything about Spitz. I love the location (Little Tokyo, in DTLA, but not the busy, smoggy part), I love the design (there's a street art theme, with some cool art/light installations), I love the food (STREET. CART. FRIES. Have 'em with the works. Seriously. Do it now.)
My experience with the chicken has been kinda dry but I have never been disappointed by their beef and lamb wraps. If you don't want the street cart fries (WHY DON'T YOU?!) the sweet potato fries are an excellent alternative (but seriously. Street cart fries. Just do it).
The waiters are the kinda aloof, disaffected hipsters you find working in all parts of LA. The kind who wear fedoras and suspenders. The kind you might classify as douchebags. But the food is so worth it.
