It really depends, I have my moments depending on certain circumstances. Small groups usually work better for me than large ones, but again, I can have moments of being either shy or perfectly happy. I often wonder about the line between loneliness and solitude. While I naturally do a lot of things by myself, I do consider myself a social creature. I move a LOT, and the times that a place finally feels like "home" are when I make friends. I think my shyness also depends greatly on the people that I'm around. If I'm around judgemental people, I instantly second guess every single thing I might say. I love a quote that I read somewhere that goes "Before you diagnose yourself with depression, ask yourself first if you're just hanging out with assholes"
So far maybe Stanley park
Hi! I'm Jamie, an upstate New Yorker, here in Vancouver on a work contract for a few months. Since I'm new to the area, I'm really excited to find some fun people and activities and this group looks like a good fit!
