Fab Lab SD - Brainstorming and Planning

Hello everyone! I'm Michael Kosen, I graduated from Woodbury University San Diego with a degree in Architecture. I was so happy to see that this type of fabrication and education organization exists and is so welcome to participation!

I volunteered to help Katie out with communication. She asked me to post this meetup for this Saturday the 22nd between 1:30 PM and 5:00 PM, where we will be an open discussion/brainstorming:

- Planning, construction of the space
- Lab use and membership
- Workshops you'd like to see, or like to teach
- Projects YOU'RE working on we may like to include in SD TechWeek, Maker Faire, or that you want space for at the lab
- Other ways you'd like to be involved in FabLab

Also from Katie, a huge thanks to everyone who've worked so hard on the space already! Your hard work is very much appreciated. If you're available, we'd be happy for you to stop by and see the changes we've made to the space.

Cheers all, happy to see you there :)

Also! For those that are so inclined, we'll have the option of getting our hands dirty! For anyone who's interested, we'll be seeing what we can do about:

    - Removing, moving, re-installing skylights so that operable skylights are over lab-space, my need hex wrenches
    - Set up electrical wall
    - String electrical extension cables along the ceiling

We're thinking of splitting into teams of people, each according to their inclination/ability. Should be fun. :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
