Have been member, off and on, since 2009. Recent retirement affords more shoot time and I plan to concentrate more on natures landscapes and details but continue with planes & cars. Please stop by and visit my web portal: http://tomswarbir...
The Fairhill group started last year about this time and really has emerged into a very knowledgeable working group of serious photographers with a lot of field assignments. Personally, I have grown alot and have been rejuvenated with new ideas and maybe a little more creativity from the folks in this group. Case and point, I would have never considered using on camera filters in this day in age of photoshop. I received advice from KennyG early on and have been using 2-3 every time I shot (I am not an expert on filters but my horizons are expanded with new things to try out). ParshM showed me a new way to shoot water (movement in time lapse and the sense of motion) and turn, what I saw as a "rusty chair", into a finely detailed piece of art. Great Group!
