FAME - Foundation for the Advancement of Monetary Education

Founded in 1995, FAME's sole mission has been to provide the public with the truth about the fraud, dishonesty, and unfairness of our financial and monetary system.

Almost twenty years later - the pain, hardship and unfairness to ordinary people has swelled to a breaking point. The media regularly report about the problems - and sometimes fault those complaining.

Hardly ever does anyone report on the root causes - including examples of outright dishonesty and fraud. Not surprisingly, the "experts" agree that bank bailouts, tax-payer funded guarantees to the financial sector and further protections and special privileges for the same bankers and officials that caused the problem are the only remedy.

We don't think so. We think after you learn about these issues, you will not think so. If you agree with our work, our only request is that you share this information with your friends and others.

"First got interested in these issues about a year Bush left office because I heard people talking about the upcoming recession and how it was going to be huge. Been promoting OWS since in started but haven't camped out or anything like that."
