What, in your opinion, is the single most important thing a person can do to help animals on this planet?

I'll get back to you on that.

Why would you like to be part of an animal rights group?

Because there's only so much you can get done alone.

Have you ever engaged in animal/earth activism (demonstrations, tabling, marches etc)? Tell us about it, and please be honest. Your experience level is NOT important!

Yes. Been doing this for decades. Check the web links. Other groups I've worked with: http://rainforestrelief.org http://ran.org http://forestethics.org http://freegan.info (founded this one, but want nothing to do with it -- not a fan of lifestyle hobbyism) http://humanevoters.org (founded the NYC chapter) http://www.nyu.edu/clubs/crueltyfree/ (helped start the group) http://www.aplnj.org/ and plenty of others that don't have websites.

Do you follow any special dietary regimen?

Yes. But I don't build my identity around my eating habits. Labels like "vegan" and "freegan" are self-marginalizing.
