I would say being an open vegan: as in not only going vegan, but being open with others about your reasons for doing so, educating as many people as you can, and blowing their minds by making them awesome vegan food. I used to be so cynical about veg*nism, but I've finally come to realize that every little thing you do makes a difference and that living vegan is about making tons of little decisions to help animals every single day.
I'm very proud to be vegan (in case you couldn't tell), but I want to do more. I know I can't save every animal in the world, but I can't help wanting to try.
The most I've done is sign lots of petitions, post things on Facebook, and give money to Farm Sanctuary and the Humane Society. I'd like to get more involved!
I'm a strict vegan, and on top of that I try to eat a healthy and balanced diet. I eat organic as often as I can, include lots of raw fruits and vegetables, and add superfoods to many meals. I do NOT skimp on desserts, though.
I'm Sarah Kate (lots of people call me Sko) and I have been a serious animal-lover my whole life! It took me until age 23 to go vegan (boy was I brainwashed), but I'm just happy that I've finally done it. Can't wait to do even more to help animals!
