Attention, NY/NJ animal/environmental activists!!!!!
Most of the time I announce events that are not pleasant/fun, , that ...make most of us wince; we get up and go out there out of a sense of duty to the animals with whom we share this biosphere.
This message is a little different.
On July 4, 2010 , world-renowned animal rights activist, environmentalist, wildlife preservationist, author and speaker, Anthony Marr, who is currently on his 40-states-in-7-months speaking tour, will be right here in our home turf, Freehold, New Jersey, to speak on Animal Rights, Wildlife Preservation, Hunting and the urgent subject of his second book: "Homo Sapiens! SAVE YOUR EARTH"
This event, co-sponsored by the Central Jersey Vegetarian Group and the Animal Protection League of NJ (APLNJ) will be staged on Sunday, July 4, 2010, rain or shine. At 1:00 pm , there will be a vegan potluck, and at 2:30 pm, Anthony Marr will speak to all those gathered. This event will be held at the Oak Point Picnic Area in Turkey Swamp Park at 200 Georgia Road, Freehold, NJ 07728.
Those of you that know me well know that i am usually hibernating somewhere away from the crowds
during any/all national holidays, I wouldn't miss this for the world however, and I hope some of you will come out for some fun and to show your support for this legendary figure in the animal/environmental movement. I certainly won't miss this rare opportunity to hear from this wise and amazing human being!!!!!!
