*****Rally for the deer of Essex Fells, NJ******

From: Anthony
Sent on: Friday, September 17, 2010 1:28 AM

FAUN is posting this in support for and solidarity with Keep Life In the Park (KLIP).

!!!!Help us to stop the bow hunt in the Trotter Tract in Essex Fells!!!!!!

We intend to send a clear message to Essex Fells Mayor Edward P. Abbot and the Town Council that we know there were NO studies conducted to justify the inhumane bow hunt which began SEPT. 13 AND IS SCHEDULED TO CONTINUE THROUGH NOV. 26TH!

Bring friends & family. Feel free to bring your own signs!

WHEN: Sunday, September 19th, 1:00 - 2:30pm

WHERE: Essex Fells Police Dept., 255 Roseland Ave., Essex Fells, 07021

WHY: Residents still don?t know the truth behind this bow hunt. The Mayor and Town Council have presented NO studies or reports to substantiate or justify a 2 ? month deer bow hunt. Local residents were not even given 48 hours notice! Town Council Meeting minutes are not posted. What are they hiding? The Essex Fells Administration Office will not answer their phones ? they do not want to hear what we have to say. Well, they will hear from us now! WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY!

From Garden State Parkway, to Route 280 West to Livingston Avenue Exit 5B. Take Livingston Ave to Eagle Rock Ave. Turn Right onto Eagle Rock Ave. Drive a short distance, then turn left onto Roseland Ave. and follow along into Essex Fells. Follow Roseland Ave. to St. Peter?s Episcopal Church on the left, make the next left turn onto Runnymede. (Here you will see the Police Dept.). Follow Runnymede to the Essex Fells Post Office where activists will be parking.

For additional details regarding this event, call or email Keep Life In The Park (KLIP) at[masked] or [address removed]

We will be there Rain or shine!!! Our fight to protect and defend deer, as well as for transparency in government, will not be stopped!!!!
