The book for December is The Star Rover by Jack London.

Please note that we will start the book discussion at 6:30, instead of our normal time of 6:00. We will be doing a wine tasting prior to the bookgroup this month which will start at 5:00. I will set up a separate meetup for the wine tasting and ask everyone to RSVP separately for the wine tasting and the book discussion.

As usual, this will be a pot luck -- so please plan to bring a main dish, dessert or beverage to share with the group. Please also bring your nomination for our next bookgroup meeting. We will discuss and vote on nominations at the end of each meeting.

Please don't hesitate to invite others to join us. Though meetup is a great way to find people and organize the meetings, we certainly don't want to limit the group to only those who know about / use meetup. So... if you know anyone who might be interested, please invite them to join us. Just be sure to include them as a guest in your RSVP so we can get a good count.

Finally -- please be considerate if you RSVP that you are coming. We are limiting attendance at each meeting so that we can encourage a good discussion. If you RSVP YES and then decide later you can't come, please take the time to change your RSVP to NO so that someone else can use your spot.
