Mikey is a great and enthusiastic speaker and he will be giving his latest presentation on the Truckee River watershed. He will cover the entire water shed including what fish are there, seasons to fish and fishing tips for the many different sections of river, including some great video footage from the area.

    Hello all,

I went to the American River in Sacramento today for some fly fishing. The weather was fantastic. Unfortunately my wader started to leak so had to cut short. I go there at least one weekend every month, more during the Shad season. If anyone is interested to accompany me please let me know. I don't have extra pole or gear.
If you are new to fly fishing you can try with my stuff to see if you like it. I know some good places for wading over there.
