When did you realize you were atheist?

It was not a all or none decision. I lost any belief in organized religion earlier on and then eventually as I studied science more and basically learned more about the inner working of the world around me it no longer become a valid option.

Are you open with you atheism and how did your family and friends respond when you told them?

I study evolutionary developmental psychology so it would be fairy hard not to. Although sometimes I do omit the evolutionary part when talking to my friend's families.

What do you hope to find in a group of freethinkers?

good conversation maybe planning some community events

Do you think atheists groups can alter public opinions of non-theism?

Of course.

Societies should not be centered around and catered to those that believe in a magical Jewish zombie or anything equally delusional. Especially when those beliefs denies others the rights to learn the correct facts about how the world actually works
