I attended one meeting of this group a few months ago...but I was disappointed to find one or two members expressing hostile and negative feelings toward people who are religious....as if believing in God was stupid and unacceptable....I have numerous very good frineds who are intelligent and very caring people --who are deeply religious and yet are very tolerant of my atheist point of view. I would appreciate meeting atheists like myself who can accept that there are very fine religous people who have a right to maintain a religious beliefl system as long as they do not impose those belief on others. Those people should not be denigrated for maintaining that spiritual belief system. I will give this group another chance and hope to find some "kindred spirits" in the group who can display some tolearance for those persons who are religious. Bob Segal

It was my first meeting on 4/3. Every one had something to say and I found the people to be very pleasant and informative. I am looking forward to future meetings. The more, the merrier. James

Other people should come to the meetup to meet other free thinkers. Free thinkers are interesting to talk with, because the god superstition will not be spoken as if it was true. Can you give the street number, or write directions about where it is? What is close to it with a big sign, so I know where to look? Is it on the south side and not where Mapquest showed it?

Over all a very intellectually stimulating group of people. Freethinkers are usually this way.

This was my first time meeting with an atheist group ever. I found the people easy to get along with and pleasant to talk to. I enjoyed having conversation with like-minded individuals for a change. For myself this was a positive experience that I would like to repeat.

It's a good group, but it is too far for me to travel on a regular basis.

I think we will be attending consistently to get the other freethinkers to come out.

Because atheists do a heckuva lot more than talk about why they don't believe in any gods.

A very laid back group for atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers and others who are curious about skepticism.
