Intrigued?!  Welcome to Valley Story Keepers!

Since the invention of cave-art, humans have been telling our stories in pictures. Now that we have cameras - especially digital cameras - sometimes we take a LOT of pictures!!

Are you ready to learn how to use that camera and record your most precious thing....MEMORIES!

Every picture has a story behind it, pictures without stories are lost memories! Every Story deserves a book of it's own, and "Everybody has a Story~~~What is Yours?"  This area is so rich in culture, history and family legacies,

Are you ready to rid yourself of the boxes of paper scrapbooking stuff, yet still make beautiful memory books...for less?  Then you are at the right place!

**Learning the art of storybooking strengthens your home, family and relationships.

**Preserves the values, morals, history and legacy of your family and home by giving them in storybook form to your children or grand children to read over and over.

If you're a digital photographer and/or digital scrap-booker, or have been attempting traditional scrap-booking techniques and have boxes or albums of years of paper photos, you'll have fun meeting others like you. This is also a group for those who have completed traditional scrap-booking and want to make additional copies without hours and hours of extra labor. Lots of ideas for photo shoots, organizing ideas and projects, writing great stories, family history and genealogy, and more.

This group is for anyone who wants to get together socially to organize photographs and stories. There are wonderful tools for doing this digitally or in easy-to-make, easy-to-share photo albums.

This group supports ALL goals, whether that be to just cull and manage the "skeleton in the closet" photographs, preserve them in safe archival storage, or create unique and beautiful works of art through "scrapbooking."

This is an opportunity to discover, preserve and celebrate your photos from generation to generation. Where are your pictures? What purpose does it have?  Have you ever thought to publish your own personalized family legacy through the power of storybooks and more. Keep changing lives and see the amazing faces as they turn the pages over and over.

We are looking for digital scrapbookers/storybookers in the Red River Valley of Minnesota and North Dakota and the surrounding areas north, south, east and west to meet and share ideas, layouts, and tricks of digital scrap-booking or "storybooking" as we call it. By using the Heritage Makers online system, with no programs to buy and or download. Beginners to advance, you are welcome to join and invite your friends! As a certified Personal Publishing Consultant with Heritage Makers, I can help you learn Studio 3.0, their online system that provides over 65,000 pieces of digital art plus publishing completed projects.

Our meeting place will very on places of availability in the Fargo/Moorhead metro area, and I am so open to help and suggestions, as well as suggested times & days. We will need internet service/connection. If you have any suggestions please contact me. Why not try it, no software to download or huge files to upload and no need to load and carry totes of supplies.  Join us and find out more. Join the group and let's get working on your photos and create your stories your way! ~ Becky Christensen~ PHD, Personal Heritage Designer with Heritage Makers.

"Is this group new? It appears so. Are there only three members? I am very new to this area and have been searching Fargo writers' groups. So far searches have produced a big, fat zero with little participation...."
