What Dorm is saying about this Meetup Group

There is an opportunity to share experiences and interest in engineering, physics and math. my degree BS in psych with minor general studies science 1970. computers have become easier & more available to use. I reviewed Axx+Bxy+Cyy+Dx+Ey+F=0 last night. took me 6months to figure how to solve for x. The equation is general equation for conics. I have set up spreadsheets in Excel(&Multiplan) to show pages of slope & radius of curve. Even a professor (author) made a mistake in a book: mainframes are harder to use and not as easy to check. Thank you for bringing back those thoughts. One does not know how much progress they have made till they look back.
