Very nice! Michelle, Rocky and their kids were a delight and the other guests were also very nice! It was nice to go to an event after a long absence. Thanks Robb and everyone or making it a great day!

All right, it's Sunday and we are certainly going to have a LOT of food to feast on but the following items have not been accounted for: tomatoes, cheese slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Don't think I've forgotten anything. So, we still need 1-2 people to pitch in and get those items.

      How about ice for drinks?

      April 14, 2013

    • Michelle J.

Ice is good, if you are still at the store! We still have to make a beer run because i couldn't buy it this morning until church gets out at noon... Boooo... :-P

      April 14, 2013

  • Paul W.

I'll bring some Dark Chocolate Almonds too! I got them at Sprouts yesterday!

I won't be able to make it after all, sorry! Next time though! :)

    April 14, 2013

I have one cooler, if anyone has an additional one then I'm sure it will get used! Don't forget lawn chairs if you have some, we only have seating for 10 outdoors.

Sorry, I have to work ... unexpected

Hi all: We are bringing either a pasta or potato salad, chips and salsa and a couple of dessert-y things from Sprouts

    1 · April 13, 2013

      Sprouts is my favorite store!

      1 · April 13, 2013

    April 13, 2013

I'll bring Mac and Cheese, chips, package of hot dog buns, and a couple of bottles of Diet Coke.

    1 · April 13, 2013

  • Rob

Ok. Got you covered for the hamburger buns 2 packs of 8), chips, Sprite and Smirnoff Ice. And maybe some cookies.

    1 · April 12, 2013

  • Michelle J.

I will have the meat, stuffed jalapenos and a desert. If you guys can bring the buns and burger fixings (cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, red onion), side dishes and your choice of drink then we should be all set. Also, if you want to bring something of your own to throw on the grill then feel free! May want to bring a lawn chair too or yard games if you have any! Just let me know what you are bringing so we know everything is covered! :) Looking forward to seeing everyone!

sometimes GPS does not working properly. Can I have a contact number just in case?

    April 11, 2013

    • Michelle J.

[masked]-4227... GPS should take you right to it... :D

      April 11, 2013

  • Rob

Yeah, let's go with cooking out. I don't care for hot dogs but I will easily devour 2-3 hamburgers!

    April 11, 2013

    • Michelle J.

We can always schedule a Timpano Party and limit the people to 8-10 so there is enough to feed everyone! :D It sounds fun and Yummy!

I vote grill burgers and brats and we bring the sides. A potluck sounds like more fun and it will be nice to sit outside.

So what's the verdict??? Are we doing the Timpano dish or grilling? If we do the Timpano then I think that we should just plan on having everyone bring some cash to help with the ingredients cost (split the bill per say,) but will one be enough for everyone or do we need to make two? Also what sides go with that? I'm going to make a desert and if we decide to grill it will be burgers, brawts and stuffed jalapenos that we can provide... What do ya'll think?

Although Rob's dish sounds fun and interesting, we've had alot of Italian food lately, so for us burgers would be our choice

      April 11, 2013

  • Rob

Boy do I have a lot to talk about! Yesterday I saw "God Loves Uganda" at the Dallas International Film Festival. It was a documentary about American evangelicals (aka fundies) who are working diligently in Uganda to stamp out homosexuality and, of course, just generally preach wherever they can to convert people (even in the absolute middle of nowhere). My fundamentalist brother saw it with me - we had a lengthy discussion after the film and, to my dismay (though I should have expected this) I couldn't get through to him at all about the glaring insufficiency of supernatural explanations for natural events and human behavior. So I will definitely bring it up at the party...

This sounds fantastic. Let us know what to bring!

    April 8, 2013

  • Rob

Okay, about that timpano dish: it will be overkill if we go with burgers, hot dogs, etc. And we've done the Italian thing every time we've met so far, but I've made this monster a few times and can attest to its glory. Anyway, if you're curious, I have the pan for it and you can check out this link to see what it is: http://www.tipsycook.com/timpano-step-by-step-to-a-big-night/ We will not need to make the dough but it still takes about 60-90 minutes to assemble and over 2 hours to bake and cool before it can be served. Let me hear from everyone as to whether I should bring the pan for us to make it...

    April 7, 2013

    • Michelle J.

It looks yummy, fun and like a lot of work! :) I'm open to whatever everyone wants to do! How would we go about getting all the ingredients for this?

      April 8, 2013

    • Rob

A few of us can raid the nearest grocery store, or I can get it all if several are willing to give me some green in return cause it ain't cheap for that much food...

      April 8, 2013

  • Michael/Sandra

    Hi All:
Just wondering if alcohol is permitted?

    • Michael/Sandra

Michelle, is there any particular thing you would like for us to bring?

      April 8, 2013

    • Michelle J.

If we are cooking out then a side dish and what you want to drink... I can provide the hamburgers, hot dogs and stuffed jalapenos... Rob is wanting to try a fun dish, so it just depends on what everyone wants to do... :)

      April 8, 2013

  • Rob

Also, it stands to reason that each person should provide some chips, crackers, cookies, drinks, etc. I'll bring tortilla chips, Doritos and lemonade. And probably a 6-pack of Smirnoff Ice or Mike's Hard Lemonade.
