Shakespeare in the Park

The Shakespeare Dallas 2013 season begins with A Midsummer Night's Dream. The show begins at 8:15; it's best to get there by 7:30 - it is ALWAYS crowded. The gates open at 7, and tickets are $10 each. Bring any food and drinks you want, plus a blanket or chairs. As usual, I'm interested in traveling with anyone in the area.

I had no idea where you guys were. It's difficult to recognize faces from a little thumbnail.

Understandable, but for future reference I make sure to provide my phone # a couple days before an event so people can get in touch with me.

An excellent performance, as always. The man who played Nick Bottom was superb - his ability to act like he couldn't act to save his life had the crowd in stitches, and his multiple death scenes were priceless.

I sorry I can't make it. I was planning on going but I forgot it was father's day weekend. My family has father's day activity planned for today and tomorrow.

I'm originally from Buffalo, NY, which has the longest running Shakepeare in the park festival in the country. If the rain holds out, I'm def down to go

Looks like most people will be getting there on their own, so when you get to the park, call or text me:[masked]

If the group would want to wait until the 22nd to go, Bryan and I are members and could get a group rate and reserved seating for everyone. We are out of town on the 15th

I have plans for the evening of the 22nd so I have to stick with the 15th.

PS - you can sit in beach chairs - they rent them there. Or, depending on what reservations were already made, sometimes we reserve the pavilion - which is the concrete area at the top and has regular chairs. We love Dallas Shakespeare and go to all the performances every year

Hendrik, do you want to go with Mary and I? We'll be coming from the west along Loop 820 so we could pick you up. Just thought I'd offer.

I'm sorry, but we just can't do the sitting on the ground for hours anymore. Y'all have fun!! We went to Shakespeare in the Park in Fort Worth for YEARS, probably when most of you were in Kindergarten. Always fun!!
