Our guide was very informative. It was a great night. It was a little warm but not unbearable. Learned that there is kayaking and canoeing offered. I also was surprised to learn that we have alligators and they are not imports!

Had a very enjoyable evening. Good to see Mark, Toby & Theresa again, and to meet Tariq & Jennifer. Cheers!

90 degrees & 40% chance of rain. Sunset @ 8. Most of the hike won't be very dark. I'm going to wuss out, may go swimming instead. I'd love to try again in a month or more and see lots of owels again.

Okay. See you at the party tomorrow, right?

You were incorrect in everything you stated. The tempreture was fine, no rain, sunset was nice, and it was very dark before long! You missed out, Dude!

I just drove past the nature center on my way home...it's 98 degrees there...I'm afraid I am wussing out too...I'm just not up for a walk in that kind of heat. Drat..I was looking forward to meeting everyone...Hopefully another walk in, say October--when it's a bit more reasonable outside? :-)

I suggest wearing jeans to avoid being attacked by mosquitos and ticks. Bring water, of course - and I have a little bit of Off! to keep the bugs away. If someone else can bring more insect repellant that would be helpful.

This is my first time getting involved in an organized freethinking meeting. My dog and I hike at the Nature Center frequently so it seemed like the perfect time to join in. Looking forward to meeting some like minded people!

Thanks Rob....doyou know where we are meeting? at the Hardwick Visitor Center?

      August 27

    • Rob

Probably at the park entrance. Otherwise, the person at the booth will tell you to go on up to the visitor center.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but if you haven't called the Center to pay and reserve a place, you'd better do it immediately. They normally set a limit on how many people can attend, and at this point it might already be full.

Another reminder that it's up to each person who wants to go to call the Nature Center and reserve your place by paying. I cannot do it for anyone else.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
