You will learn the basics of 123D Make including:
Using the 123D gallery to download a model
Choosing a construction method for the best results
Scaling, wrapping, and hollowing your models
Exporting files as .eps or .pdf files
You will also learn the basics of working with the laser cutter including:
Safe operation of the laser system
Setting up files for vector cutting
Raster engraving and etching
Color-coding lines for a variety of engraving effects
Using the Epilog print software to create consistent results
Material preparation and clean-up
Cardboard for practicing on the laser
1 24×24 sheet of 1/8″ birch plywood
Glue for model construction
