Just a reminder -- bring a sack lunch! We'll provide coffee and tea.

You'll also find a handy checklist in the "Files" section of this page (look under the "More" option). Kathleen's salon includes many of these, but you may want to bring your own (especially if you're a lefty like me!).

At the last minute I'm unable to go to the Sewing Salon Session. I hope someone can take my place and I hop you have this opportunity again soon.

Sorry I'll have to miss it. April 26 is Earth Day, my favorite day of the year. I'm even having trouble deciding which of those to participate in. I love quilting because it's a way to recycle fabric!

There are 6 sewing mechanical machines here for your use, if you do not want bring your own. Bring you own current projects to work on the majority of time. Bring your brown bag lunch. Your travel sewing Kit and a notebook are great, also. This is a sewing session for you to take advantage of the time, space, camaraderie and expertise available.

I forgot that I have a family event in San Luis Obispo that weekend. I hope to see another event soon. I really can use some new techniques, like setting sleeves and sewing silk.
