Morning Hike at Middleton Dog Park / Hubbard Ave. Diner Brunch

Yes it's winter, but that doesn't mean we can't go outside. Put your woolies on and let's meet for some Sunday morning exercise at the Middleton Dog Park. We'll stretch our legs and exercise our buddies at the same time.

If you have a dog, bring 'em along. If you don't, come anyway for the fresh air and exercise. We will meet at the picnic table near the entrance and head out by 9:45 for about a 45 - 60 minute walk. Hopefully Laurie will join us with her new bundle of joy, Mary Kate!.

And since we can't do any event without sharing a meal, let's head over to Hubbard Avenue Diner for a late breakfast / early lunch afterward. Our pups can sleep it off in the car while we warm up and enjoy a nice meal. Pie, anyone?! http://www.hubbardavenuediner.com

If you bring your dog, a Dane County Dog Park license is required. Day passes available on site if you don't have one for your pet.

The Middleton Dog Park is located on County Hwy Q, about 2.5 miles north of Hwy M in Middleton. The dog park has a brand new area for agility training for your dog - check it out! It is on the left hand side of the road as you head north toward Waunakee. It's easy to miss - look for the sign for the Middleton Compost area, it is in the same place. If you get to Hwy K, you have gone too far.

If it is just too cold or slippery, we will skip the walk and meet at the Diner at 11:00 am for brunch. Be sure to check the site that morning to get the updated plan.

It was fun getting out of the house and enjoying some human companionship.

I am sorry you waited for me. I originally only signed up for the dog park - not the brunch. Please let me know if that did not come across. I am not sure why things are not working as I had anticipated on the response portion of the web site. Please let me know, maybe I need some sort of tutorial!
