This Meetup group started as Fabulous Females of Food & Fiction in 2011.  Same group, shorter name.

We are well over 300 members strong and growing every day. We typically have 2 Meetups a month at great new restaurants as well as tried-and-true favorites. Typically one event will be a sit-down dinner, and another event will either be a brunch or happy hour.  We have a book selection each month as well, but reading it is never mandatory to attend one of our events. We are mostly busy professional women, and many of us are transplants to Dallas looking to make new friends.  We love a good book, we love a great meal and often a great drink to go with it, and we love getting together with other fabulous women and making new friends.

If this sounds like you, then this just might be the group you're looking for.

We look forward to meeting you soon!

About the deposits:

We always require a deposit to RSVP to an event, and any cancellation after the time noted in the meetup event details results in the forfeiture of that deposit. This is to ensure everyone who says they're coming has some skin in the game, hopefully reducing the number of no-shows.  We want goodwill with the establishments that welcome us each month, and that means we need to show up when we say we will.  We realize everyone is busy and things come up, but we also want it to sting a little to cancel last-minute.  (The restaurants we frequent count on seeing us, but so do the Fab Females who sign up for the chance to visit with other fabulous women!) Any deposits that are retained due to late cancellations are either used to cover Meetup and PayPal fees, or donated to charity.  Deposits are refunded either at the meetup event before you leave or refunded via PayPal.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
